Sausage dog art - original painting

Original Ink Painting - Sausage!

Sausage!  Is based on Marley the Dachshund, Victoria's faithful doggo companion and muse has been depicted in this happy and colourful original painting.  This beautiful painting was created with alchohol inks. The creation of these pieces are wonderful, as you will never get one painting the same due to the fluididy of the ink. Each piece is truly bespoke.  Gold Metallic ink is used, which gives a beautiful effect throughout the piece.

The piece is painted on 320 g/m Nara glossy heavy weight Yupo paper.  This paper gives a specific glossy shine to the finish.  The painting is mounted within a fantastic quality bevelled cut aperture which is slightly textured, and off-white in colour. The mount has a hard back to protect the painting, and will also come packaged in a clear bag to keep it in a tip-top condition.

Aperture - 25.5cm x 20.5cm

Inner aperture size-17cm x12cm

Image size - smaller than the aperture

A waterbased varnish has been used to protect the work.  You will see some yellow halo affects on the white part of the Yupo paper, this is extremely slight and hardly noticeable.  This is an affect from making the painting and cannot be avoided, it is deemed part of the aesthetics of the piece.

The painting is hand signed by the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Price includes P&P to UK only.  Please refer to T's and C's for more information.  Should you live outside the UK, and are interested in the work, please contact Victoria so she is able to calculate P&P.

Please note; the flowers pictured are for decoration only, and are not part of the sale.

  • Care Instructions

To ensure that the work stays in tip-top condition and doesn’t fade, it is important that it is kept in a picture frame, in an area that is not subjected to high humidity, direct sunlight, or extreme heat (in the vicinity of a radiator).

Although there is a protective varnish applied to the work, please ensure that you handle the painting with care, and be careful not to touch the surface of the painting as the colour can be transposed onto your hands, and to other surfaces, as is the nature of the alcohol ink.

Please be aware of suffocation with regards to the plastic wrapper- keep away from children.
